Andy currently works as an Emergency Physician at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and a Medical Retrieval Consultant with CareFlight NT. Andy is also the co-creator and current director of the ETM Course.
Andy and George Douros initially created the ED Procedures course as an in-house skills maintenance course for emergency physicians but soon found that what trainees wanted was a full day of hands-on, out-of-hospital procedural skills training.
George is an Emergency Physician at Austin Health and Western Health in Melbourne, a coordinator for Adult Retrieval Victoria and investigator for the Coroners’ Court of Victoria. George is also the co-creator of the ED Procedures Course.
George has an interest in human factors and systems thinking; making it easier for the right thing to happen.
David is a Maltese doctor who moved to Australia for ‘a year’ in 2008. David has since gone on to do Emergency Training between Cairns and Melbourne and has settled into part-time trauma centre work and part-time retrieval work.
Held in central Melbourne, this 1-day course will allow advanced ACEM/ACRRM/RACGP trainees, ACEM Certificate & Diploma candidates, FACEMs and GPs to learn and practice a wide range of critical ED procedures in one day.
